Privacy Policy — Esports Manager

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Esports Manager is a single-player esports management game published by Peak IT Solutions (za.co.peak.clan). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with data.

The short version. Esports Manager has no accounts and no servers that hold anything about you. Your saved game never leaves your phone. Two things do use the network: Google's advertising and billing SDKs, and — only if you buy the supporter pack and only when you tap the button — downloading the soundtrack from our website. You can turn the advertising part off by buying the ad-free version.

What is stored on your device

Your career — the organisation, roster, staff, buildings, equipment, history and settings — is written to your device's app storage and to nowhere else. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

The app also keeps a short local log of the last few errors, so that a crash can be described accurately if you report one. It contains only error messages and code locations, never game or personal data, it never leaves the device unless you copy it and send it yourself, and you can clear it at any time from the “How it works” sheet.

Advertising

The optional rewarded videos are served by Google AdMob. Watching one is always your choice: nothing in the game requires an ad, and nothing behind one affects whether you can win.

To serve ads, Google collects device and usage information including your device's advertising ID. What Google does with it is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form on first launch and your choice is passed to the ad SDK. You can reset that choice by clearing the app's data.

You can stop ad requests entirely by purchasing Remove Ads in the app.

Purchases

There are two, both one-time and both handled by Google Play Billing: Remove Ads, and the supporter pack, which adds the soundtrack. The transaction happens inside Google Play; the app never sees or stores your payment details. Google's handling of it is covered by the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

The soundtrack download

The music is not included in the app — it is about 41MB, and bundling it would make every free download carry files it cannot play. If you buy the supporter pack, the tracks are fetched from peakitsolutions.co.za when you tap the download button, and stored on your device.

Nothing is sent with that request except the request itself. There is no account, no identifier and no game data in it. Like any web server, ours records ordinary access logs — the file requested, the time, and the IP address it came from — which is what makes it possible to tell a working server from a broken one. Those logs are not linked to anything else and are not used to build any profile of you.

The download never starts on its own, the size is shown on the button before you start, and you can remove the files afterwards without losing the purchase.

Notifications

The app can schedule local reminders — a daily scout being ready, a contract about to run out. These are created and delivered on your device. No push service is used and no notification data is sent anywhere.

Children

Esports Manager is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

Under South Africa's POPIA and, where it applies, the GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal information is held about you and to have it corrected or deleted. We hold none: there is no account and no server. Requests about data held by Google should go to Google.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the updated version replaces this page.
